How do I choose a door sign?
Simply click on the sign you like from the selection available on the first page! The sign will be selected and you will automatically be guided to step 2 where you can design your sign.
Why is the indicated size of the sign different than the size on my screen?
The size of the chosen sign on your screen will depend upon your screen's resolution; this cannot be avoided. The door sign will always be to scale with the text and look exactly as you designed it, but to the actual indicated dimensions. Alternatively, you can change the resolution on your computer until it fits the actual dimensions of the sign.
Can I choose other font sizes than the ones available on the website?
Absolutely! We can engrave your sign to the exact measurements you want. We are continually developing our system and more sizes will be added to the website. If you would like to have text sizes larger or smaller than those available, simply indicate your desired size in the message form! You can specify the size of the text you would like for each row of text, for instance 10.5, 11.5 etc. You can also write "larger, a bit smaller" and we will take care of it.
How do I place an order on Skyltdax.se?
Once you designed your door sign, click on "Add to shopping cart". You will see your shopping cart and then be able to add more of the same kind of door sign to your order, design another sign, add information or continue onward to the checkout page. To continue with your purchase, click on "Buy now". Fill out all the necessary information, choose your method of payment (credit card or invoice) and proceed with your purchase. When you have completed this step, you will get a confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address you provided. Your door sign will be engraved just as you designed it and it will be sent to you within one week.
Can I order several door signs at the same same time, each with different content?
Of course! When you are finished designing your first door sign and once you have placed it in your shopping cart, you will be taken to the checkout. Below your cart, you will see a button where you can add more signs. You can also go to the start page and click on any of the signs. You can order additional signs with the same text and content by clicking on the + or - buttons next to the sign on the checkout page. To remove a sign, you can click on the minus sign until the selected sign is removed from your cart. You can easily see if you already have door signs in your shopping cart by looking at the green button on the right-hand side of the skyltdax logo on the front page. If you cannot see this button, your shopping cart is empty.
How do I pay?
You pay with a credit card or by invoice. We accept most credit cards, such as Visa and Mastercard. The transaction is carried out by our Swedish credit card supplier Payex and Nordea, ensuring maximum online transaction safety. Payments by invoice are handled by Klarna AB.
Do the signs come with the screws?
Yes, of course! All door signs come with the appropriate screws in the same color as the sign. How do I attach a sign with no holes? A sign with no holes is easily attached using adhesive tape; this is included as well!
My credit card was not accepted?
If your credit card was not accepted, please make sure it is one of the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or Diners. We also accept other credit cards; those are some of the most commonly used cards. If the problem persists, contact your bank in order to address the matter. If you encounter problems on the website, please contact customer service at 08-501 64 705 or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Has my order been processed?
Your order has been processed and approved when you receive an e-mail. If you paid for your purchase by credit card, you will also receive confirmation from Payex, the company handling our card transactions for us. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
Why did I not receive an order confirmation?
When your purchase is complete, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. You should receive it immediately, but please allow for a delay of a few hours for the e-mail to arrive. If you still did not receive it after a few hours, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
What are the shipping and handling costs?
The shipping and handling costs are SEK 39 per order. This covers our shipping and administrative costs.
When will my sign arrive?
Your sign should be manufactured and delivered to you within 3-7 weekdays depending on the current workload. This is subject to any delays with the post office, suppliers or any other unforeseen circumstances.
What do I do if my sign is damaged?
If your sign is damaged or incorrectly made, contact us immediately using the contact form found under Returns. Briefly describe the damage or issue. Then send the sign back to Skyltdax.se at the address below. We will examine the damage and immediately send you a new door sign.
